From here you can continue traveling the world, visiting the most beautiful destinations and the best examples of cultural tourism and adventure tourism, but this time you can travel to Latvia, Cesis City, and place of legend.

cesis

In the past, they say, the city had the presence of an old man with his lantern walked the streets of Cesis announcing that everything was in order. Thus, people could go to sleep peacefully, knowing that there was nothing unusual on the horizon.

But one day a strange fog covered the city, off the lighthouse and making audible the voice of the elderly. The next day, although there was nothing unusual in the city, the old man disappeared and was never seen again.

Soon the city of Cesis was the victim of repeated attacks and sieges, but always remember the old people and even argue that one can find, very occasionally, a serene carrying an oil lamp glass which tells us our future.

With such a legend as a cover letter, Cesis is one of the most visited cities by tourists in Latvia. It is just over 90 kilometers from the capital, Riga, and has a history of over 800 years. Medieval court buildings, lush forests and mountains surrounding Cesis make an excellent destination for rural and cultural tourism.

The castle was built in the middle of the thirteenth century and today is guarded by young men in time, forming a very fun and entertaining attractions, as well as educational.
