Alexandria the name goes back to a city with a great history behind it, because who founded it was the same Alexander the Great in 332 BC However, despite the incredible amount of years that accumulates and the importance of this city past, many tourists returning from Alexandria are not satisfied, then little is left to see its history. Despite all this, today the main attraction of the city of Alexander the Great is his great library.
The Ancient Library of Alexandria retains the appeal of being the largest in the world , as assembled in one place more than 700 thousand books. It was so overwhelming its capacity as the uncertainty of knowing how the library was destroyed, who was commissioned to do it and why.
